DOMINION's "Appalachian Gateway Project"

DETAILS ON DOMINION's
"APPALACHIAN GATEWAY PROJECT"

Although this recent pipeline project is far smaller (109 miles) than the proposed "SEPIPELINE" (531 miles) the Appalachian Gateway Project [AGT] 
is the best possible model for education purposes.

MAJOR DIFFERENCES:
AGT uses existing Dominion "right of ways"
5 Compressor Stations 
National forest land


"providing 484,260 dekatherms per day of firm transportation service for the new Appalachian supplies that will ultimately be delivered to homes, businesses, industries and power plants throughout these regions.

110 miles of new natural gas pipeline along new and existing rights of way in 
West Virginia, Pennsylvania,

Proposed facilities in this area will include 3 new compression facilities, upgrade the 2 existing 
compression facilities, and a 30 inch diameter pipeline. 

43 mile TL-590 - 30 inch diameter pipeline,

Compressor Stations - 4 NEW, 2 upgrade:
NEW: 6,130 horsepower compression station, Birch Ridge Station, Marshall County, West Virginia
NEW  3,550 horsepower compressor station Lewis Wetzel Station, at existing Hastings facility, Pine 
Grove, WV
NEW: 1,775 horsepower compressor statioin to be Morrison Station, near Wilsonburg in Harrison County.
Upgrades to Dominion's existing Schutte n Doddridge and 
Upgrades to Dominion's existingPepper compressor facilities in Barbour Counties
